Chris Willburn: The Positive Mindset of Behavior change
Here we are again with another amazing episode of The Iron Works Podcast! On todays episode we discuss Weight Loss, a near death experience and the ideas and practices Chris Willburn uses to effectively change not only his own life but the lives of others around him. He had spent his formative years in the beautiful state of Washington playing sports and having physical activity and health playing a huge part in most of his life.
After the loss of a parent, the gain of over 100 lbs and a near fatal hospital trip, Chris found himself in a hole he was struggling to get out of both mentally and physically. His battle with post traumatic stress and other life events were about to lead him over the edge when he decided to develop his mantra, "Just Don't Quit". Chris is now a behavior change and weight loss specialist with a great attitude and approach to his training and the way he interacts with his clients. He focuses on positive self talk and motivational interviewing to help people find solutions that are sustainable for life and has a dramatic impact on how they see themselves as the best versions of themselves!
